On Friday, August 10, 2018, Med-Tex and GBCA’s Director of Education and Professional Development, Angela Hendrix, visited LF Driscoll’s PennFIRST jobsite, which is a project for Penn Medicine. At the job site, Med-Tex continued OSHA’s “Water. Rest. Shade.” campaign, which is an initiative to keep workers safe in the heat. 

Med-Tex delivered 250 water bottles and high-visibility safety t-shirts to the job site crew. The team also did a demonstration of the equipment and the methods used for conducting rescues in confined space, in addition to safety guidelines for working in confined spaces.
