Day One:
Designated Employer Representative (DER) – March 11: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Covers changes to 49 CFR part 40
- Comply with Department of Transportation (DOT), Aviation, Trucking, Pipeline, Maritime guidelines
- The course covers ALL elements of effective programs
- DER specific responsibilities and challenges
- Essential to a “true” drug-free workplace
Day Two:
Reasonable Suspicion Training -March 12: Half Day either 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- What supervisors can, should, and SHOULD NOT DO and must do when confronted with possible alcohol or drug impairment
- Meets training requirements for the Federal Department of Transportation and state Drug-Free Workplace Programs
- Training designed to help ALL supervisors and managers in substance abuse conduct and performance
