Lockout/Tag-out Training

Workers servicing and maintaining machines and equipment where unexpected start-up or release of stored equipment can occur must be trained to control hazardous energy. 29 CFR 1910.147 for General Industry and 1926 Subparts K and Q for Construction Industry are the OSHA standards for The Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tag-out). It is the employers’ responsibility to ensure employees understand, and are able to follow hazardous energy control procedures in the workplace. Med-Tex Services Lockout/Tag-out program offers employers and employees through training to mitigate the hazards associated with the electrical hazards in the workplace.
